Rudik Osorio is a Los Angeles-based video editor originally from Guatemala, having moved to the United States when he was one. He recently edited America’s Family, a feature film produced by CHIRLA, exploring the impact of an unexpected ICE raid on a family. Currently, Rudik is part of the post-production team at Disney Entertainment Television (DET), where he focuses on finishing promos for Hulu and ABC platforms.
Rudik’s own work includes So Far So Good, a 4-episode web series that premiered at the Pasadena International Film Festival, as well as BIVA SESSIONS, a 3-episode docu-series profiling Los Angeles-based artists. His background in post-production began as an assistant editor, where he contributed to acclaimed feature documentaries like The Unafraid and A Woman’s Work: The NFL's Cheerleader Problem. He’s also worked on short documentaries for the Annenberg Space for Photography, including Frans Lanting: The Evolution of Life and Country: Portraits of an American Sound.
Rudik holds an MFA in Film Production and Directing from UCLA, where he co-directed and co-edited Doubleblind, the first television pilot produced in an academic setting. He continues to seek meaningful projects that allow him to blend storytelling with impactful themes.
